TheCOSUC384xseriesofcontrollersare
peakcurrentmodepulsewidthmodulators.
Theyaredesignedtoofferimproved
performanceandloweredexternalpartscount
whenusedindesigningoff-lineorDC-to-DC
switchingpowersupplies.Theinternally
implementedcircuitsincludeanunder-voltage
lockout(UVLO),featuringastart-upcurrentof
lessthan1mA,andaprecisionreference
trimmedforaccuracyattheerroramplifierinput.
Otherinternalcircuitsincludelogictoensure
latchedoperation,apulse-widthmodulation
(PWM)comparatorthatalsoprovides

minimumnumberofexternalcomponents.Protectioncircuitryincludesundervoltagelockout(UVLO)
andcurrentlimiting.Internallyimplementedcircuitsincludeastart-upcurrentoflessthan1mA,a
precisionreferencetrimmedforaccuracyattheerroramplifierinput,logictoensurelatched
operation,apulse-widthmodulation(PWM)comparatorthatalsoprovidescurrent-limitcontrol,anda
